Job summary

Storal Learning Ltd is seeking a Nursery Educator at Children 1st Shepshed to foster child development and ensure their safety through play-based learning. You will manage activities, observe progress, and support children's personal care while implementing the Storal curriculum.

The ideal candidate will possess a Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification, bring experience in Early Years settings, and have knowledge of the EYFS framework. Competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Address - 55 Forest St, Shepshed, Loughborough LE12 9DA

Hours - 24 hours over 3 days or 40 hours per week Monday-Friday

Salary - Up to £13.40ph; salary will depend on qualifications and experience

Qualification - Must hold a Level 2 or above in Childcare

Responsibilities

You’ll plan activities, observe progress, and manage personal care for children. You will apply the Storal curriculum and our pedagogy principles to daily practice, searching for learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes and transitions. You’ll bond with children and their families through meaningful moments while delivering high levels of care and empathy.

Qualifications

• Early Years qualification at Level 2 or 3
• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous
