Job summary

National Skills Agency seeks an organised trainer/assessor to support apprentices in Early Years. The role is home-based with travel to nurseries to visit learners and employers across assigned areas.

You will plan, mentor and review training, staying up-to-date with policies while managing a mix of appointments and admin. Strong communication, time management and self-motivation are essential for success in this busy, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.
• CAVA, A1 award or working towards is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Strong time-management and organisational skills needed.
• Self-motivated with ability to energise others and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Holistically plan, co-ordinate, mentor and support on training and assessment for Apprentices in the Early Years sector.
• Balance appointments, admin tasks and policy updates in a busy environment.
• Travel to nursery settings to visit learners and employers within assigned areas.
