Job summary

Storal is hiring an Apprentice Early Years Educator in Charlbury. You will support safe, caring, and inspiring learning for young children as part of our Storal community.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week, with a starting rate of £8 per hour. The role emphasises teamwork, communication with parents, and developmental care within our Nara Charlbury Nursery School setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCSE English and Maths at grade 2/E or above or Functional Skills Level 1+.
• Apprenticeship programme requires commitment and teamwork.
• Patience, friendliness and a genuine interest in child development.

Responsibilities

• Apply the Storal curriculum and pedagogy in daily activities with children.
• Seize learning moments within routines like meals and transitions.
• Bond with children and families through meaningful interactions.

About the role:

As an Apprentice Early Years Educator you will be a key part of keep our children safe, loved and inspired to learn. Key activities include:

• Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily
• Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions
• Bond with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments

Essentials

• Are 16 or over, have a passion for children and an aptitude for learning
• Minimum requirements to apply for this role are English and Maths GCSE grades 2 or E or above OR Functional Skills Level 1 or above.
• are able to commit to a full apprenticeship programme.
• are patient and friendly
