Storal’s Main Street nursery in Long Eaton invites applicants for an Apprentice Early Years Educator. You will help create a safe, loving environment and support learning through everyday activities, meals, and transitions.

You will join a warm team, participate in routines, and build strong relationships with children, families and staff while developing your early years expertise. This apprenticeship includes DBS processing and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Love for child development and care is essential.
• GCSE English and Maths at level 2 or equivalent are required.
• Able and willing to work in a team.
• Patient and friendly demeanor.

About the role:

As an Apprentice Early Years Educator you will be a key part of keep our children safe, loved and inspired to learn. Key activities include:

• Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily
• Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions
• Bond with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moment

Essentials

• Are 16 or over, have a passion for children and an aptitude for learning
• Minimum requirements to apply for this role are English and Maths GCSE grades 2 or E or above OR Functional Skills Level 1 or above.
• are able to commit to a full apprenticeship programme.
• are patient and friendly
