Job summary

The Learning Tree Nursery School in Romford is seeking an Apprentice Early Years Educator to help keep children safe, loved and inspired to learn. You will apply the Storal curriculum daily and engage in meaningful moments with children and families.

As an apprentice, you will work a 36-hour week from Monday to Friday, with a focus on developing early years skills, caring for children, and collaborating with the team in a warm, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• English and Maths GCSE grades 2 or E or above OR Functional Skills Level 1 or above.
• commit to a full apprenticeship programme.

Hi, I’m Karly, the Nursery Manager at The Learning Tree.

About the role

As an Apprentice Early Years Educator you will be a key part of keep our children safe, loved and inspired to learn. Key activities include:

• Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily
• Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions
• Bond with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments

Essentials

• Are 16 or over, have a passion for children and an aptitude for learning
• Minimum requirements to apply for this role are English and Maths GCSE grades 2 or E or above OR Functional Skills Level 1 or above.
• are able to commit to a full apprenticeship programme.
• are patient and friendly
