Job summary

Vale of Glamorgan Council is seeking an experienced supervisor for the Early Help Advice Line based at Barry Community Enterprise Centre. You will lead a small team delivering advice to professionals and families, by telephone and in-home visits, in line with Families First guidance.

The role requires 4 years in family support, partnership work, and strong leadership, with a focus on safeguarding and multi-agency collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience of working directly in Family Support.
• Experience of partnership work with multi-agency teams.
• Experience of supervising a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Early Help Advice Line Advisors who provide advice and guidance to professionals and families, initially by telephone and within the home environment in line with the Families First guidance, relevant national standards and local and national legislation and guidance.
• Collaborate with partners and ensure service delivery meets safeguarding requirements and quality standards.
