Job description
Purpose of Role

The Early Careers Advisor is responsible for the coordination, delivery, and continuous improvement of the firm’s graduate, apprentice, internship, and work experience programmes. This role ensures early careers talent is effectively onboarded, supported, and developed, while maintaining strong relationships with training providers and internal stakeholders. The role also supports the business in making effective use of the Apprenticeship Levy and contributes to the delivery of high-quality, structured development experiences.



Key Responsibilities


  • Schedule APC training sessions, send invitations, manage attendance, and maintain accurate training records.

  • Arrange and coordinate mock interviews for APC candidates, including scheduling assessors and preparing materials.

  • Coordinate onboarding and induction activities for graduates and apprentices, ensuring a smooth transition into the business.

  • Liaise with UBE, RICS, and other third-party training providers to manage enrolments, resolve queries, and ensure programme alignment.

  • Maintain and update graduate and apprentice programme timelines, tracking key milestones such as rotations, reviews, and exam dates.

  • Respond to queries related to early careers, internships, and work experience placements, providing timely and accurate information.

  • Assign APC Counsellors to graduates and apprentices and maintain a tracking log of assignments and progress.

  • Respond to Early Careers training queries, escalating complexiosi where necessary.

  • Create, maintain, and regularly update the Apprenticeship / Graduate Guide to reflect current processes, contacts, and expectations.

  • Manage APCдерін requests and coordinate the completion of Career Development Charters for those who pass APC.

  • Track graduate and apprentice performanceдігі , escalating concerns to HR where appropriate, and supporting development conversations.

  • Support the recruitment process for graduates and apprentices, including Assessment Centre and Career Fair logistics.

  • Maintain and develop the graduate and apprentice programmes to ensure they remain aligned with business needs, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain and develop the work experience and internship programmes, including outreach to schools/universities, scheduling placements, and collecting feedback.

  • Act as a key point of contact for graduates, apprentices, interns, and their line managers, providing ongoing support, guidance, and programme information throughout their development journey.



Skills and Experience


  • Experience in a learning and development or early career’s role.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with learners and stakeholders.

  • Experience developing and maintaining early careers programmes.

  • Understanding of the Apprenticeship Levy and its application in a business context.

  • Experience coordinating onboarding and induction for early careers cohorts.

  • Ability to monitorબ્ધ training provider performance.


  • Commercial awareness and the ability to align programmes with business needs.

  • Proficiency in using learning platforms for administration and reporting.

  • Confident in using MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Ability to collect and analyse data to support decision-making and compliance.



Qualifications


  • CIPD Level 3/5 or equivalent would be an advantage, but not essential
