Job summary

Compass Associates is partnering exclusively with a leading provider of employee health and wellbeing services, delivering 24/7 confidential support across the UK and internationally. We seek a Level 4+ counselling professional to conduct initial assessments, risk triage, and time-limited interventions via telephone/video.

You will manage a structured caseload, work within a supportive clinical team, and benefit from supervision, IT support, and employee assistance program access.

Qualifications

• Level 4+ counselling qualification is required.
• Professional membership with a recognised counselling body (BACP/COSCA/BABCP).
• Clinical supervision in place is required.
• Experience in risk management and maintaining professional boundaries.
• Strong IT skills and typing while speaking.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume assessment environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial clinical assessments and triage client needs.
• Deliver brief, focused support through booked assessments and single-session interventions via telephone and video.
• Complete risk assessments and follow safeguarding protocols with professional boundaries.
• Manage a structured counselling caseload alongside assessment work.
• Collaborate within a busy clinical team while maintaining communication and standards.
