Overview

In this role, you will be strategic and hands-on. You’re resourceful and driven to provide access to innovative therapy for patients. As the Senior Director, International Markets (UK), you will build, develop, and lead the country organization to achieve market access approval for the first solid tumors TIL therapy. Your focus will be on securing access, building relationships with medical experts, societies, and authorities, engaging with accredited centers, and managing projects effectively. You will help set business direction and drive growth and scalability as market access is granted in the country.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with medical experts, health authorities, and societies
  • Localize global strategic plans to meet country needs and support business development
  • Achieve commercial success by developing accounts and securing profitable deals
  • Lead market access strategy with support from the Market Access Head for Europe
  • Collaborate with treatment centers to develop patient care pathways
  • Manage issues proactively and deliver projects on time and budget
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to foster a culture of excellence
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for sales support
  • Represent the company at industry events
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and stay updated on industry trends
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Travel requirement: 50%

Required Education, Skills, and Knowledge
  • MBA or graduate degree in life sciences
  • 13+ years management and leadership experience in pharma/biotech
  • Leadership experience, preferably as a Country Manager
  • Proven ability to drive revenue and execute strategic plans
  • Multilingual, including proficiency in local language(s)
  • Market access experience in the assigned country
  • Experience in financial planning and budgeting (a plus)
  • Ability to lead change and think strategically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
Preferred Education, Skills, and Knowledge
  • Successful launches in Cell & Gene therapies
  • Strong collaboration skills for working in a matrix environment
  • Fluent in English and local language(s)
Physical Demands and Work Environment

Must be able to remain stationary, exert force occasionally, and communicate effectively. The role may require repetitive motions and visual acuity. The work environment is a professional or remote office setting, with safety considerations for remote work.
