Job Description:

THE ROLE:

This role is responsible for qualifying, developing, and closing new business within the Energy and Chemicals sector for FGE NexantECA’s Insights and Analytics business, covering Europe, Middle East, and Africa. The New Business Development Executive will identify and develop new client relationships and support subscription renewals, with success measured by sales results.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience, preferably within a business services organization.
  • Experience working in data, analytics, and consulting in the chemicals/energy sector.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, website software, CRM systems, etc.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to research companies and markets to understand client challenges.
  • Passion for sales, active listening, and customer focus.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
  • Research companies and markets to understand their challenges and identify relevant FGE NexantECA reports to mitigate risks.
  • Contact customers via phone (including cold calling), email, social media, and video to understand needs and offer solutions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across various departments.
  • Qualify prospects through meetings and demonstrations of the client portal.
  • Build and maintain an active sales pipeline to meet targets.
  • Manage and track customer information in CRM (Hubspot).
  • Provide regular pipeline and forecast reports.
  • Relay feedback to program managers and collaborate with senior management on sales strategies.
  • Stay informed about competitors and market trends.
