Job Description

We’re working with a long-standing asset management business that’s looking for an IT Manager to assume a progressive role. The company has a strong track record over several years and boasts a fantastic culture. Due to business requirements, we can only consider candidates from a similar finance services background (asset management or hedge funds).

This role will shadow the CTO, with the potential to assume that role in the longer term. Approximately 30% of your time will be dedicated to IT operations, around 20% to strategic planning, and about 50% to IT risk management (cyber security, systems access, etc.). Although there is a current infrastructure in place, there is an ongoing need to maintain and enhance the existing setup.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with all levels of the business to ensure service continuity and an optimized IT business model.
