Job Description:

IT Procurement Manager | £45,000 to £65,000 | Bonus | Full Benefits Package | This is a REMOTE & Homebased role with occasional visits | Leading Professional Services Business

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing professional services business that is establishing its first IT Procurement Manager role.

You will report to the Group Head of Procurement, building out the function in line with business growth, taking ownership of all IT spend. While this is a remote, home-based role, the company has multiple offices across the UK for occasional visits.

Role and responsibilities:

• Create relevant category strategies, oversee their delivery and performance, including achieving year-on-year savings
• Develop category plans and strategies aligned with the group's objectives, leveraging suppliers to support local offices
• Support the development of sourcing projects with clear and prioritized pipelines
• Engage, manage, and influence senior stakeholders from Director to Board level, utilizing strong market knowledge
• Build relationships with key stakeholders to gain comprehensive insights into supplier performance
• Monitor supplier risk and performance using reporting tools and business feedback
• Act as a procurement role model by embodying company values, delivering high standards, and promoting procurement through relationships
• Ensure strategic projects are delivered on time and that the business receives optimal service aligned with cost efficiency

Experience and requirements:

• Experience working for a large, complex, multi-site organization
• Category experience in IT and Technology
• Ability to engage, negotiate, and influence senior stakeholders up to Director level+
• Strong stakeholder management skills, adaptable to different relationship types and maturity levels
• Analytical mindset with strong communication skills for presenting ideas effectively
• Experience working in a large, cross-functional procurement team
• MCIPS qualification is desirable but not essential
