Job Description
We are seeking an organized and efficient Finance Assistant to join our team in Crewe, United Kingdom. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance department's daily operations and ensuring smooth financial processes.
- Reconciling supplier invoices to our accounting system
- Approving invoices for payment
- Completing reconciliations for our suspense partners on the network
- Balance Sheet Accounting
- Supporting wider team with cover and ad hoc projects
- Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and efficiency
- Respond to financial inquiries from internal departments and external stakeholders
- Perform general administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to prioritise and keep to deadlines within a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – predominantly Excel and Access
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Work to a high degree of accuracy
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems and processes
