This is a high-volume outbound calling B2B sales role, focused on engaging with Clear Businesses existing customers to renew their contracts and retain the products and services Clear Business supply them. A key requirement of the role is that all activity performed aligns to Clear Businesses values and sales behaviors, with a customer-centric focus always maintained.

What we want you to do

  • Outbound call to Clear Business customers to retain and renew products and services contracts
  • Perform all activity within regulatory standards, GDPR and quality policies
  • Complete all reports, system and CRM updates in a timely and accurate manner
  • Develop an expert level knowledge of Clear Business’s products, systems and business processes
  • Create excellent working relationships across the Clear Business colleague community

What success in the role looks like

  • Achieve all commercial targets in a consistent manner (month-by-month)
  • Achieve all agreed activity targets
  • Operate within Clear Business quality guidelines
  • Achieve all objectives agreed with the Customer Growth Sales Manager
  • Receive above par scores from customer satisfaction surveys and internal feedback

What you need to have already done to be right for this role

  • A minimum of 2-years demonstrable success in a high-volume desk-based B2B sales, retentions or customer service role
  • Experience of negotiating multiple product, price and contract terms with customers
  • A good level of understanding of B2B sales processes
  • A good level of understanding of regulatory requirements impacting B2B sales organisations
  • Computer literate with experience of sales CRM, and/or Lead Management systems

  • Good written and verbal communications skills, with an ability to adapt communication styles to individual customers
  • High level of attention to detail and organisation, with a sense of ownership, pride and responsibility for the accuracy of own work
  • The drive, resilience and focus required to win in a competitive sales environment
  • A genuine interest in own development and learning needs, with the energy and desire to act on them to improve own performance
  • A professional and pleasant demeanour, with the desire to create good working relationships with both colleagues and customers

Qualifications and other requirements

  • Industry Experience: Information Technology, Utilities and/or Service provision preferred, but not essential
  • Location: Within commuting distance of office location, essential

Location: Based in our sale office, South Manchester
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, no evenings, weekends or bank holidays
Hybrid working model: The choice to work remotely for three days
