Smart Environmental Support Solutions is seeking a dedicated and process-driven Account Manager with strong administrative experience to oversee recruitment, compliance, performance, and payroll of our agency's flexible workforce.

This is a remote position, but some travel to client sites for candidate check-ins and inductions may be required.

Role Overview

Recruitment:

  • Placing adverts, shortlisting, and prescreening suitable candidates
  • Maintaining an active pool of available workers

Payroll:

  • Processing payroll for employees, including salaries, deductions, and benefits using internal and external systems
  • Ensuring accurate and timely payments
  • Maintaining payroll records and reports

RTW Checks:

  • Conducting right-to-work checks for new employees
  • Verifying documentation and ensuring compliance
  • Maintaining RTW records

Inductions:

  • Coordinating and conducting inductions for new hires
  • Completing necessary paperwork and providing support

PPE Ordering and Storing:

  • Ordering and managing PPE stock
  • Maintaining records and ensuring safety compliance

Compliance Checks:

  • Conducting regular compliance audits
  • Addressing issues and maintaining records

General Filing:

  • Maintaining employee records and documents securely
  • Supporting administrative tasks

Additional Support:

  • Onsite check-ins for colleagues' leave and RTW checks as needed

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in recruitment is essential
  • UK driving license and transport
