Telent's Network Services division is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our Engineering team based in Southampton. This role offers the chance to work with a talented team of Cloud, Network, and Security specialists, supporting your growth through challenging projects.

The Cloud Engineer will develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, providing proactive service and acting as a bridge between engineering and Service Delivery, Projects, and Service Desk to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Cloud Engineer - Responsibilities:

• Train engineering staff and customers on products and solutions.
• Support Professional Services and Sales opportunities within Network Services.
• Monitor customer incidents and report on nominated accounts.
• Identify trends, security threats, and technical bulletins affecting customers.
• Manage documentation related to customer platforms and Telent Cloud Services.
• Follow internal and external processes for tasks, reporting, and changes.
• Assist with PoC scenarios, Type Approval, and lab testing.
• Create technical documentation such as TA, POC, RFC, WI, and SoW.
• Review engineering documentation peer-wise.
• Help pre-stage equipment for customer site installations.
• Participate in customer meetings and reviews.
• Ensure accurate and timely timesheet submissions.
• Maintain relevant certifications and training aligned with role.
• Complete overtime and expenses accurately.
• Adhere to GDPR and information security policies.

Who you are:

The ideal candidate will have an interest in Cloud technologies, including Azure, Linux, MS SCCM, and MS Exchange, with support experience in medium to large IT environments and on-premise Cloud Services.

• VCP 6.x-DCV (desirable)
• MCSA: Windows Server 2016 or above
• Knowledge of Networking Concepts
• Experience with SQL Server 2016+, clustering, and availability groups
• Azure MFA and Identity Services
• Microsoft System Configuration Manager
• Microsoft Exchange Server 2016+
• VMware vCloud Director
• Leadership qualities and a proactive attitude
