Job Opportunity: Skilled Groundworker/Ganger

Position: Permanent, full-time (47.5 hours)

Salary: Competitive plus good overtime rates

About the Role

Are you not scared of a hard day's graft? As a Skilled Groundworker/Ganger, you will be responsible for delivering on-site projects safely, to a high standard, and in compliance with site-specific risk assessments. You will brief the team and visitors on identified risks.

If you have experience in installing deep drainage, manhole construction, concreting, block laying, kerbing, etc., this could be the role for you!

There will be heavy lifting and physical work, so you need to be willing to get stuck in.

Responsibilities

You will report to the Supervisor and be directly responsible for the Operatives and ensuring the safety of visitors to the site.

Experience and Qualifications

• CSCS Card
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Extensive experience in Deep Drainage, Civils, or Groundworks
• Proven experience in a lead role
• 360 or Dumper Ticket (NPORS)
• SSSTS (Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme)
• EUSR SHEA (Water - multi-utility as required)
• SWQR Operative Certificate, Units 001-007 & 009
• Emergency First Aid at Work Level 2 (minimum)
