HR Manager
– £37k-£40k, permanent position, hybrid working. Location: Cannock (Headquarters) with a day each week at other sites.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, articulate and implement HR standards across the Group
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives across all sites
- Collaborate with the CEO and senior management team to shape organisational culture and drive business performance improvements
- Provide regular updates and insights to the UK Senior Management Team on HR metrics, trends and initiatives
- Develop and maintain a system for monitoring HR standards and performance indicators
- Prepare and present reports to the CEO and Senior Management Team on HR performance, challenges, and opportunities
- Design policies to reduce sickness and absence rates across all sites
- Work with site managers to address attendance issues
- Guide health and well-being initiatives to support employees
- Assess working conditions regularly across sites
- Implement opportunities to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity
- Promote a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and high performance
- Lead training programs to improve staff skills and competencies
- Implement best practices for competence assessment aligned with business goals
- Support talent development to build leadership within the group
- Leverage AI tools and digital platforms for HR processes and employee development
- Ensure staff are trained in relevant digital tools
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, with support from UK legal advisers
- Stay updated on HR trends and best practices for continuous improvement
Required experience:
- Proven experience in HR roles managing operations across multiple locations (minimum 3 years)
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
