• Qualifications required: City & Guilds part 2 & 3 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management or equivalent practical experience.
• Commercial experience on HGVs is essential.
• Class C+E license preferable but not essential.

We are currently looking to recruit for HGV Technicians to join our Transport Department at our Amesbury Depot within our Müller Milk & Ingredients Distribution business.

This is a great opportunity for HGV Technicians seeking to work for a prestigious logistics company, servicing and repairing a modern, well-maintained fleet of vehicles.

The purpose of this role is to repair and maintain our HGV fleet to comply with legal and company standards. Candidates will be responsible for actively seeking solutions to challenges and embracing a safe and efficient operating approach to their work.

• Location: Amesbury Depot (SP4 7SZ)
• Contract: Full Time / Permanent
• Shift Patterns: 5 out of 7 days (47.5 hours per week)
• Rate of Pay: £19.29 per hour, Saturday - £21.70 per hour, Sunday - £28.94 per hour, Overtime / Bank Holiday - £28.94 per hour, Unsociable hours (1800-0400) - £22.03 per hour

Weekly paid with planned transition to monthly pay over 2025/2026.

HGV Technician Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Inspect and maintain our HGV fleet
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and transport to test centre
• Record vehicle defects and keep accurate records of work carried out
• Carry out fault diagnosis
• Prioritize safety in all aspects of work
• Qualifications required: City & Guilds part 2 & 3 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management or equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry
• Commercial experience on HGVs is essential
• Class C+E license preferable but not essential
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Manage deadlines effectively and prioritize workload
