We are currently recruiting HGV Technicians for our Transport Department at the Amesbury Depot within Müller Milk & Ingredients Distribution.

This role offers a great opportunity for experienced HGV Technicians to work with a prestigious logistics company, servicing and repairing a modern, well-maintained fleet.

The purpose of this role is to repair and maintain our HGV fleet in compliance with legal and company standards. Responsibilities include actively seeking solutions and embracing safety and efficiency in operations.

• Location: Amesbury Depot (SP4 7SZ)
• Contract: Full-Time / Permanent
• Shift Patterns: 5 out of 7 days (47.5 hours/week)
• Pay Rate: £19.29/hour, with premium rates for weekends and unsociable hours as detailed below:

• Saturday - £21.70/hour
• Sunday - £28.94/hour
• Overtime / Bank Holiday - £28.94/hour
• Unsociable hours (1800-0400) - £22.03/hour

Weekly pay, transitioning to monthly pay in 2025/2026.

HGV Technician Responsibilities:

• Inspect and maintain our HGV fleet
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and transport to test centres
• Record vehicle defects and document work performed
• Perform fault diagnosis
• Prioritize safety in all tasks
• Qualifications: City & Guilds parts 2 & 3, BTEC, IMI in motor vehicle management, or equivalent practical experience
• Essential: Commercial experience on HGVs
• Preferred: Class C+E license
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Strong deadline management and workload prioritization skills
