Job Purpose

You will deliver a high-quality operational HR service to managers and employees across the UK business, supporting employee relations, ensuring legal compliance, and managing complex casework such as disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance issues to foster a positive workplace environment.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Coach managers on employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management.
  2. Draft and implement HR policies and procedures.
  3. Develop resources to enable managers to handle HR processes independently.
  4. Support managers in leading and developing their teams.
  5. Manage casework from initiation to resolution collaboratively with colleagues.
  6. Advise employees on workplace issues.
  7. Communicate effectively with Trade Unions.
  8. Suggest improvements for workplace culture and compliance.
Job Requirements
  1. Experience in delivering HR services with a focus on employee relations and case management.
  2. Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  3. Ability to coach and challenge line managers effectively.
  4. Capacity to analyze complex issues and propose practical solutions.
Preferred Attributes
  1. Commitment to collaborative working and supporting colleagues.
  2. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases.
  3. Strong communication skills.
  4. Experience working with Trade Unions is advantageous.
