Job Title: Area Sales Manager – HVAC Systems

Industry Sector: Grilles, Diffusers, VAV Systems, FCUs, AHUs, Acoustic Solutions, Natural Ventilation, Displacement Systems, Bespoke Solutions, Ventilation, Floor Grilles, Specialist Fabrication, Architectural, Louvres, M&E Consultants, Architects, M&E Contractors, Building Services, HVAC and Building Services

Area to be covered: South West, West Midlands, and Wales

Remuneration: £50,000-£60,000 + Up to 50% Bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager – HVAC Systems will involve:

• Field sales role selling a manufactured and distributed range of grilles, diffusers, VAV systems, FCUs, AHUs, acoustic solutions, natural ventilation, displacement systems, and bespoke solutions.
• Focus on grills and diffusers (60%-70%).
• Managing relationships with M&E contractors (50%).
• Specification sales led with M&E consultants and architects (50%).
• Taking over responsibility for field sales activity from outgoing Managing Director.
• Maintaining a turnover of circa £2-£3m.
• Revitalizing long-established relationships with M&E consultants and contractors.
• Delivering CPD presentations.
• Order values typically £20,000, ranging from £10,000 to £250,000.
• Potential for growth into a senior management position in the future.

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – HVAC Systems with:

• Proven field sales experience selling HVAC/building services systems.
• Specific knowledge of grilles, diffusers, VAV systems, FCUs, AHUs, acoustic solutions, natural ventilation, displacement systems, and other bespoke solutions is beneficial.
• Experience in winning specification projects via M&E consultants, architects, and contractors.
• Strong new business development skills.
• Technically capable.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Self-motivated, good communicator, and IT literate.
