Job Overview

Our client, a rapidly growing distributor of specialty raw materials to the UK Coatings & Resins Industry, is seeking a Technical Sales Manager Industrial Coatings - CASE. This is a home-based, full-time, permanent position covering the UK and Ireland, reporting to the Business Manager.

Responsibilities

1. Create and maintain a profitable and sustainable business unit, achieving sales and margin targets.
2. Develop long-term relationships with key customers and create compelling sales propositions.
3. Manage supplier relationships to ensure positive contributions and long-term partnership.

Key Areas

Customer Sales

• Develop key accounts and execute sales & marketing activities effectively.
• Expand in markets such as Coatings, Inks, Adhesives, and Resins.

Supplier Management

• Communicate with suppliers regarding reports, sales figures, market insights, and product development.
• Gather market intelligence and ensure a robust supply chain.
• Build new supplier relationships.

Qualifications & Experience

• BSc in a technical field or equivalent industrial experience.
• Technical sales experience with knowledge of raw materials and formulations in the coatings, inks, adhesives, and resins sectors.
• Ability to develop product formulations and identify customer needs.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Business acumen for attracting and developing supplier partnerships.
• Team player with a growth mindset and determination.
• Active engagement with industry organizations.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience), plus benefits including a company car, five weeks holiday, pension, healthcare, and a bonus scheme.
