A Day in the Life of a Front Office Supervisor

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading the front desk team with friendliness and proactivity, ensuring guests feel welcomed and cared for.
  • Managing front desk operations smoothly, including check-ins and check-outs.
  • Supporting and training front desk agents to maintain high standards.
  • Handling guest inquiries and requests confidently, turning interactions into positive experiences.
  • Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance to meet guest needs.
  • Overseeing reservations, billing, and guest accounts for accuracy.
  • Participating in shift planning and scheduling.
  • Taking ownership of the department in the absence of the Front Office Manager.
  • Managing daily hotel operations as duty manager.
  • Maintaining a welcoming front desk environment.
What We Need From You
  • Experience in front desk or guest services, with some leadership skills preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Organized with attention to detail, especially in reservations and billing.
