Supports the development of strategies, standards, and management plans, and undertakes delivery of the Information Management (IM) discipline for client projects/programmes to ensure efficient information management and successful delivery. Delivers IM process and system training. Supports the Lead for IM on projects/programmes. Develops and implements processes as per ISO19650, including digital delivery standards.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Defining and delivering IM strategies, standards (including ISO19650), and processes for client-facing projects and programmes.
  • Establishing and managing the project/programme IM function following set strategies, standards, and processes.
  • Training project/programme colleagues in IM practices and processes, promoting awareness and continuous improvement.
  • Managing assurance and quality control of documents and artefacts submitted and stored.
  • Line managing, coaching, and supporting the IM team working on the project, including direct and indirect reports.
  • Contributing to the global Digital Centre of Excellence, including knowledge base, processes, and case studies.
  • Supporting bids with IM strategies and solutions.
  • Assisting in setup, implementation, and development of the Common Data Environment (CDE).
  • Working collaboratively towards the net zero carbon transition, proactively managing associated emissions and reductions during work delivery.

You'll need to have:

  • Experience in Information Management across multiple projects and programmes, including information architecture, naming conventions, numbering, filing conventions, and ISO19650 standards.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI.
  • Extensive project and programme experience in IM and document control, including setting up and managing document control and IM functions, and familiarity with ISO 19650, UK BIM Framework, and CDE management.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Effective negotiation skills and experience working with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Disciplined in running IM processes and supporting team members.
  • Ability to work independently, be organized, and manage boundaries effectively.

You'll also have:

  • Technical qualifications such as APM IM, Associate of Information Managers, or equivalent, with subject matter expertise in key IM software including Aconex, ViewPoint, Business Collaborator, SharePoint, etc.
  • Experience with Revit and Solibri, including Model Assurance.
  • Industry experience in construction, property, or real estate, with awareness of security, cybersecurity, and data protection.
  • Experience working in an international setting, either remotely from or outside the UK.
  • ISO 19650 certification.
