Job summary

This role supports the development of strategies, standards, and management plans, and manages the Information Management (IM) discipline for client projects/programmes to ensure efficient information management and successful delivery. Responsibilities include delivering IM processes and training, supporting the IM lead, and developing processes aligned with ISO19650, including digital delivery assurance.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Defining and delivering IM strategies, standards (including ISO19650), and processes for client projects/programmes.
  • Establishing and managing the project/programme IM function following these standards.
  • Training colleagues in IM practices and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Managing document assurance and quality control.
  • Line managing and supporting the IM team.
  • Contributing to the global Digital Centre of Excellence.
  • Assisting in bid processes with IM strategies and solutions.
  • Supporting the setup and development of the Common Data Environment (CDE).
  • Collaborating towards net zero carbon goals, managing associated emissions during project delivery.

You'll need to have:

  • Experience in IM across multiple projects, including information architecture, naming, filing conventions, and ISO19650.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI.
  • Extensive IM and document control experience in large projects, familiarity with UK BIM Framework, CDE management.
  • Strong communication skills, negotiation abilities, stakeholder engagement experience, and disciplined IM process management.
  • Teamwork and training skills, independence, organizational ability, and boundary management.

You'll also have:

  • Technical qualifications such as APM IM, Associate of Information Managers, and expertise in IM software (Aconex, ViewPoint, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Experience with Revit and Solibri, Model Assurance.
  • Industry knowledge in construction, property, real estate, security, cybersecurity, data protection, and international work experience.
  • ISO 19650 certification.
