The Opportunity/Role

We are excited to offer a Water Utility Account Manager position. Reporting to the Head of Water, the successful candidate will service the framework contract by supporting, developing, and maintaining relationships with operations, developer services, contractors, depots, and delivery partners.

Patch: Hertfordshire - Kent

Main Responsibilities
  1. Communicate and collaborate on our product and service offerings to maximize revenue and profit potential.
  2. Coordinate with the Customer Service team to ensure timely delivery of products to sites and depots.
  3. Serve as the main point of contact between key clients and internal teams.
  4. Ensure contract compliance by reviewing depot and site material stock and usage.
  5. Close project opportunities identified by Technical Solution Consultants.
  6. Manage accurate customer data and project information within the CRM system.
  7. Develop strategic alliances with utilities and contractors to achieve sales and margin growth aligned with company plans.
  8. Create and maintain Account Plans for Utility customers, identifying mutual value and setting objectives to drive sales growth.
Requirements
  1. Experience managing accounts within the utility sector, with a track record of facilitating opportunities to meet sales goals.
  2. Thorough knowledge of the market, products, competitors, and customers to stay current and contribute effectively.
  3. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to challenge and influence positively.
  4. Confident communication style capable of engaging at all levels internally and externally.
  5. High commercial and strategic awareness.
  6. Ability to identify and manage key performance criteria, collaborating across departments to ensure sales process efficiency.
  7. Negotiation skills to secure sales with utilities and contractors within pricing policies.
  8. Proficiency in IT, including CRM management.
  9. Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel as needed.
