Job summary

Bis Henderson Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Head of Supply Chain in the East Midlands to lead end-to-end supply chain operations within a fast-paced ecommerce environment. This senior role requires developing teams, driving continuous improvement, and delivering strong cost-to-serve and KPI outcomes.

Applicants should have 6-7+ years in a supply chain leadership role, with ecommerce/wholesale experience and a proven track record of improving KPIs.

Qualifications

• 6-7+ years' experience in a supply chain leadership role, with a strong fulfilment/operations background.
• Experience within ecommerce, wholesale or a comparable fast-paced environment.
• Strong cost-to-serve understanding.
• Proven track record of improving KPIs and delivering measurable results.
• Experience working within ISO 9001 or an equivalent quality management framework.
• Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
• Driven, disciplined and results-focused with a structured improvement approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply chain and fulfilment operations, including warehousing, inventory and supplier performance.
• Drive operational KPIs including inventory accuracy and cost-to-serve.
• Lead supplier management and identify opportunities to improve cost, service and performance.
• Develop and lead managers and operational teams, establishing clear direction, accountability and performance standards and maintain high standards of quality, compliance and operational control.
• Undertake thorough analysis and diagnostics to deliver measurable, sustainable improvements, using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma.
