Ambition is seeking an E-Billing Analyst for a Leeds-based billing team within a leading international law firm. You will support the firm-wide e-billing process across multiple offices and client portals, becoming a trusted subject matter expert in a collaborative Finance function.

Responsibilities

• Act as key contact for e-billing queries and escalate when needed.
• Maintain client and matter billing data (timekeeper rates, billing arrangements).
• Build relationships with stakeholders across Finance and business.
• Submit LEDES and PDF invoices via e-billing portals accurately and on time.
• Support implementation of new e-billing portals with Team Leader.
• Manage budgets, accruals, and matter information in supplier portals.
• Collaborate with Credit Control to monitor invoice status and reduce debtor days.
• Work with PAs and portal contacts to resolve invoice rejections.
• Use eBilling Hub to configure clients.
• Contribute to ad hoc finance projects and process improvements.
• Ensure activity aligns with regulatory obligations and internal policies.
• Liaise with Billing team to apply client billing guidelines at the point of billing.

Our client is a leading international law firm with a strong and growing presence across the UK and overseas. They are looking for an E-Billing Analyst to join their Leeds-based billing team, supporting the firmwide e-billing process across multiple offices and client portals.

This is a role where accuracy, initiative, and strong stakeholder relationships matter. You will become a trusted subject matter expert within a collaborative Finance function, with real scope to develop your skills and progress your career.

What You'll Be Doing

• Acting as a key point of contact for all e-billing queries, escalating issues to the appropriate level when needed
• Maintaining client and matter-level billing data, including timekeeper rates and billing arrangements, to ensure accuracy across all accounts
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business
• Submitting LEDES and PDF invoices through a range of e-billing portals, ensuring submissions are accurate and timely
• Supporting the Team Leader with the implementation of new e-billing portals
• Managing budget, accrual, and matter information within supplier portals to facilitate efficient invoice processing
• Working with Credit Control to monitor invoice status and help reduce outstanding debtor days
• Collaborating with PAs and portal contacts to investigate and resolve invoice rejections
• Using the eBilling Hub to create and maintain client configurations
• Contributing to ad hoc Finance projects and process improvement initiatives as required
• Ensuring all activity aligns with the firm's regulatory obligations, policies, and internal procedures
• Liaising with the wider Billing team to ensure client billing guidelines are captured and applied correctly at the point of billing

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in an e-billing role (essential)
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and complex tasks simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a confident and professional approach to stakeholder management
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with good judgement around when to elevate
• Solid IT skills, with a genuine interest in developing your systems knowledge further
• A commercially aware mindset
• Flexibility to work outside standard hours when business deadlines require

Nice to Have

• Experience with 3E and eBilling Hub
• Previous exposure to a legal or professional services finance environment
