Job summary

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join our Trauma and Orthopaedic Fracture Clinic at Royal Blackburn and Burnley sites. You will care for adult and paediatric patients, including wound care, casting and mobility aids, with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care.

The role requires current NMC registration, strong communication skills, and the ability to work across two sites with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with UK NMC registration.
• Experience in Trauma and Orthopaedic nursing.
• Experience with wound care and casting provisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to patients following surgery and those with wounds needing casts or mobility aids.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in fracture clinic.
• Collaborate with A&E, theatres, inpatient wards and primary care.
