Job summary

This NHS foundation trust is seeking a caring Staff Nurse to join the Orthopaedic, Rheumatology and Fracture Clinic team at Peterborough City Hospital. You will deliver high standards of patient care, collaborate with MDT members, and act as a role model while supporting clinics and the plaster room.

You will be guided by senior staff and encouraged to pursue professional development to achieve Senior Band 5 competencies, with a view to progression.

• A Registered Nurse with a current live NMC pin.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to both trauma and elective patients, including children and adults.
• Supporting the smooth running of trauma and elective clinics, as well as the plaster room.
• Acting as a mentor to students and junior team members, serving as a role model and upholding Trust policies and procedures.
• Engaging in professional development to achieve competencies outlined in the 'Senior Band 5' competency pack, working towards becoming a Senior Registered Nurse.

Your role will include:
