Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking an experienced Housing Officer to manage a patch of around 400 properties in Dawlish, Devon, with cover across other areas as needed. This temporary assignment emphasizes tenancy and estate management, with a focus on ASB cases and strong resident service delivery.

You will need a full driving licence to travel between properties, work approximately 37 hours per week, and be available to start on 2 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in tenancy and estate management.
• Experience handling nuisance and antisocial behaviour cases.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day tenancy management across a patch of approximately 400 properties.
• Carry out estate management duties within the Dawlish area.
• Provide housing management cover across other areas of the housing stock when required.
• Manage routine nuisance, neighbour disputes and antisocial behaviour cases.
• Investigate tenancy-related issues and take appropriate action to resolve concerns.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support services on complex antisocial behaviour cases, including injunctions or court proceedings.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure housing management issues are dealt with promptly.
• Support the delivery of a patient-focused housing management service during the assignment.
