Job summary

DK Recruitment has a temporary Housing Officer role in Plymouth for an 8-week contract, working 37 hours weekly with a flexible hybrid pattern. The role covers housing and estate management across about 600 properties, including supported accommodation and sheltered housing for residents aged 60+.

Interactions with residents, partners, and external agencies are essential, with flexible on-site and remote work.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within social housing/housing management.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work with an older resident group.

Responsibilities

• Manage tenancy and estate management caseload.
• Undertake estate inspections and tenancy visits.
• Resolve tenancy, estate and neighbourhood issues.
• Work with residents and partner agencies.
• Handle anti-social behaviour cases when required.
• Maintain accurate case records and progress files.
• Build relationships with residents, colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Work across a defined patch and contribute to wider housing management services.
