Job summary

Supply Desk is hiring a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a primary school in the Watford area. The role is full-time with a pay range of £90–£120 per day, dependent on experience.

You will work closely with teachers to support pupils across the school, delivering engaging activities and providing targeted assistance to children with diverse learning needs. Ideal candidates will hold an HLTA qualification or equivalent, have strong experience in a primary setting, and be committed to

Qualifications

• A recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a primary school setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with a range of abilities and learning needs.
• SEN experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Lead lessons and activities in the absence of the class teacher.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils needing help.
• Support pupils with SEN, ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEHM needs.
• Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum and participating in activities.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers.
