Job summary

Nationwide Platforms Ltd. in Birchwood is recruiting a Hire Desk Controller to join our Customer Service Team. The role is a fixed-term contract for six months, working Monday to Thursday, 34 hours per week, reporting to the Hire Desk Manager.

You will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring great relationships and a high level of service. You will manage end-to-end hire processes, maximise revenue, and support retention.

Qualifications

• Experience in inbound and outbound telephone-based account management in a B2B environment.
• High level of customer focus with excellent telephone and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to negotiate and close business on viable commercial terms.

Responsibilities

• Own all inbound customer enquiries to resolution.
• Open new accounts and onboard new customers.
• Provide quotations and identify cross- or upsell opportunities.
• Follow up open quotes to drive regional revenue.
• Accurately capture data in the order entry process.
• Understand and articulate the product range to customers.
• Build strong cross-department relationships for a customer-focused environment.
• Resolve customer queries quickly and cost-effectively.
• Escalate issues and drive service resolution.
