Qualifications

• Strong classroom management and the ability to supervise pupils across lessons.
• Calm, consistent and professional approach to behaviour and learning.
• Capability to work independently across different subjects when staff are absent.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow school procedures.
• Understanding safeguarding responsibilities in education.

Responsibilities

• Classroom supervision
• Deliver pre-prepared work and instructions provided by teaching staff
• Ensure pupils understand the tasks they have been set
• Monitor progress and engagement throughout lessons
• Maintain an orderly classroom environment
• Deal confidently with low-level behaviour and follow school procedures
• Support learning and encourage pupils to complete work
• Answer questions and provide clarification where possible
• Report significant issues or pupil progress to staff
• Ensure classrooms are left organised for the next lesson
