Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across Milton Keynes' secondary schools. You will supervise classrooms during short-term absence, delivering pre-set work and keeping pupils engaged.

The ideal candidate has experience with young people, strong communication and organisational skills, and a proactive mindset. Degree or relevant experience is desirable, and flexible working arrangements are available to suit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people (education, coaching, youth work, tutoring, mentoring).
• Confident in managing groups of students.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Adaptable, resilient and proactive.
• Degree or relevant experience (desirable).
• Passion for supporting young people's education and development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and confidently.
• Ensure students stay focused and complete work.
• Provide support and guidance where required.
• Uphold school policies and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Work flexibly across different schools and year groups.
