Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking dedicated Cover Supervisors to work in Milton Keynes area secondary schools. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students stay engaged with the set work.

The role offers flexible hours, access to CPD resources, and dedicated consultant support to help you secure long-term and permanent positions. Training and safeguarding are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people (education, coaching, youth work, tutoring, mentoring, etc.)
• Confident managing groups of students
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Adaptable, resilient and proactive

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and confidently
• Ensure students remain focused and complete the work set
• Provide support and guidance where required
• Uphold school policies and maintain a positive learning environment
