Job summary

King's Lynn Academy is seeking a passionate Cover Supervisor to support pupils and maintain continuity of learning within our welcoming academy community. You will help create the conditions for every student to flourish and contribute to a positive, orderly learning environment.

Role requirements include a Level 2 in English and Maths, experience in an education setting, and the ability to engage pupils with SEN and G&T considerations. Flexibility to work outside normal hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Level 2 (GCSE A-C) or equivalent in English and Maths.
• Experience of working in an education setting.
• Ability to manage classes effectively, using approaches which are appropriate to pupils’ needs in order to involve and motivate them; including a good understanding of SEN and G&T characteristics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuity of learning and a positive classroom environment.
• Support pupils to engage confidently with their studies.
• Assist with safeguarding and pupil wellbeing as part of the academy team.
• Be flexible to work outside normal hours if necessary.
