Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Kettering is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to deliver high-quality lessons across primary and secondary settings, maintaining continuity of learning during staff absences. You will adapt teaching methods for pupils of varying abilities, establish positive relationships with pupils and staff, and uphold safeguarding and school policies in a busy, supportive environment.

This full-time role offers consistent hours from 8:30am to 3:30pm, in the Kettering and greater

Qualifications

Experience delivering high-quality lessons across year groups.
Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse abilities, including SEND/EAL.
Strong safeguarding knowledge and commitment to child safety.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum and school expectations.
Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning during staff absence.
Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities, including SEND and EAL learners.
Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive behaviour.
Assess pupil understanding and provide feedback to teaching staff.
Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff to support pupil progress.
Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times.
