Job summary

The Downs Primary School and Nursery in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor / HLTA to join our team on a permanent basis. The role involves class-based support, cover duties, and delivering interventions and booster sessions to students.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school setting.
• HLTA qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• Experience across a broad range of year groups in KS1 or KS2.
• Adaptable, organised and flexible.
• Experience of teaching a whole class and small groups.

Responsibilities

• Class-based support across lessons and activities.
• Class cover during teacher absence.
• Interventions and catch-up booster lessons.
