Job summary

Teach Now is seeking a confident HLTA / Cover Supervisor to provide high-quality classroom cover from Reception to Year 6 across a primary school in the UK.

The role includes delivering pre-planned lessons, leading classes, and supporting staff during non-cover periods. All planning is provided to focus on delivering engaging lessons and maintaining high standards of learning.

Qualifications

• Confidently manage and teach a whole class across primary year groups.
• Strong behaviour management to maintain a calm learning environment.
• Flexible and comfortable moving between year groups.
• Ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils.

Responsibilities

HLTA / Cover Supervisor – Primary School

Salary: £120–£130 per day

Year Groups: Reception to Year 6

Role: HLTA / Cover Supervisor

Teach Now is recruiting a confident and adaptable HLTA / Cover Supervisor to provide high-quality classroom cover across Reception to Year 6.

The role will involve covering PPA, leadership release, training and staff absences, delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring continuity of learning across the school. When cover is not required, you will be based in Year 6, supporting pupils and the class teacher.

About You

• Ideally has previous class-cover experience in a primary setting.
