Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment in Southall is seeking an experienced HLTA or Primary Cover Supervisor to provide PPA and general classroom cover across the school. The role is full-time and starts ASAP, with pre-planned lessons and a focus on maintaining classroom routines.

You will cover EYFS through KS2 as required, deliver prepared lessons, manage behaviour and support pupils to stay on task. Interviews and trial days will be arranged promptly.

Qualifications

• Has previous experience covering primary classes.
• Is confident managing a class independently.
• Can follow and deliver existing lesson plans.
• Has strong behaviour management skills.
• Can adapt quickly between different year groups.
• Is reliable, professional and confident working across a school.

Responsibilities

• Provide PPA and general cover across the primary school.
• Cover classes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 as required.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons provided by class teachers.
• Manage behaviour and maintain classroom routines.
• Support pupils to remain engaged and on task.
• Ensure lessons run effectively in the absence of the class teacher.
• Work with school staff to provide consistent support to pupils.
