Job summary

NSL in North Ayrshire is seeking a DVLA Enforcement Officer to support parking and street management solutions. You will liaise with the public, advise on fines and enforcement actions, and work with DVLA, Police, and VOSA as required.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, strong communication, self-motivation and a customer-focused approach. We offer competitive pay, a pension scheme, full uniform, and flexible shift patterns.

Responsibilities

  • Liaises with the public and advises on clamping and fines.
  • Advises on payment methods and enforcement actions for vehicles.
  • Works with other agencies including Police DVLA and VOSA as required.
  • Deals with enquiries about enforcement actions and provides information packs.
  • Ensures vehicles and enforcement equipment are serviced and fit for purpose; reports faults to the Manager.
  • Completes daily activity reports.

Our Enforcement Officers play a big part by removing untaxed vehicles on behalf of the DVLA.What does a DVLA Enforcement Officer Do?

  • Liaises with members of the public and give advice regarding clamping and fines
  • Advises the public on payment methods and other issues regarding enforcement action taken on their vehicle
  • Work alongside other agencies when required including Police DVLA and VOSA
  • Deals with enquiries from the public regarding enforcement action and ensures the relevant information packs are available
  • Ensures all vehicles and enforcement equipment is serviced and fit for purpose reporting faults to the Manager
  • Completes daily reports regarding activities
What do you need to be a DVLA Enforcement Officer?
  • ***All applicants applying for this role must hold a full UK driving licence***. Applicants who do not hold a full UK driving licence will not be considered
