NSL is recruiting for a DVLA Enforcement Officer in the Newport area. The role involves liaising with the public, advising on clamping, fines, and payment methods, and working with agencies like Police, DVLA, and VOSA.

Applicants should have a full UK driving licence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work shifts. Prior similar experience is welcome but not required; a strong customer focus is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensures vehicles and equipment are serviced and reporting faults to the Manager.
• Completes daily activity reports.

DVLA Enforcement Officer

Our Enforcement Officers play a big part by enforcing and clamping untaxed vehicles on behalf of the DVLA.

What does a DVLA Enforcement Officer Do?

• Liaises with members of the public and give advice regarding clamping and fines.
• Advises the public on payment methods and other issues regarding enforcement action taken on their vehicle.
• Work alongside other agencies when required including Police DVLA and VOSA.
• Deals with enquiries from the public regarding enforcement action and ensures the relevant information packs are available.
• Ensures all vehicles and enforcement equipment is serviced and fit for purpose reporting faults to the Manager.
• Completes daily reports regarding activities
