Job summary

NSL is recruiting a DVLA Enforcement Officer to join our frontline team supporting the enforcement of un-taxed vehicles on behalf of the DVLA. You will liaise with the public, advise on fines and payments, and work with partner agencies to ensure enforcement actions are carried out efficiently.

We value self-motivated individuals with excellent communication skills, who can work shifts and on their own initiative.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated and customer-focused.
• Ability to work shifts and on own initiative.
• Previous experience in a similar role would be ideal but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Liaises with the public and provides advice on clamping and fines.
• Advises the public on payment methods and enforcement actions.
• Works with other agencies including Police, DVLA and VOSA.
• Handles public enquiries on enforcement and provides information packs.
• Ensures vehicles and enforcement equipment are serviced and reports faults to the Manager.
• Prepares daily activity reports.

DVLA Enforcement Officer

What does a DVLA Enforcement Officer Do?

• Liaises with members of the public and give advice regarding clamping and fines.


• Advises the public on payment methods and other issues regarding enforcement action taken on their vehicle.


• Work alongside other agencies when required including Police DVLA and VOSA.


• Deals with enquiries from the public regarding enforcement action and ensures the relevant information packs are available.


• Ensures all vehicles and enforcement equipment is serviced and fit for purpose reporting faults to the Manager.


• Completes daily reports regarding activities
