Job summary

Kainos is hiring a Product Consultant to drive backlog maturity, MVP thinking, and end-to-end delivery for client projects. You will lead agile ceremonies, run workshops, and engage a diverse set of stakeholders.

You’ll coach junior staff and translate business needs into actionable user stories while balancing commercial constraints. The role requires client-facing experience, agile delivery expertise, and the ability to engage with Defence sector environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in bespoke software delivery within an agile environment.
• Experience collaborating in a client-facing consulting setting.
• Defence sector experience and active DV clearance are highly valued.
• Experience across analysis, design, build, test and live operations.

Responsibilities

• Own team backlog maturity and drive MVP thinking from inception to delivery.
• Lead agile ceremonies and workshops with stakeholders to reach consensus.
• Coach and develop junior staff and manage performance.
• Translate functional, technical and non-functional requirements into clear user stories.
