Job summary

Kainos is seeking a Product Consultant to lead backlog maturation and feature delivery from inception to delivery. You will drive MVP thinking and articulate its value to the team, stakeholders and project sponsors.

You will run workshops, facilitate consensus in areas of uncertainty, and coach junior staff while contributing to the Product capability. This role requires strong agile skills and a collaborative, client-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering bespoke software as part of an agile team for external customers.
• Client-facing consulting experience is a must-have.
• Defence sector experience is required or highly desirable.
• Expert in modelling As-is/To-be processes and presenting to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Owns backlog maturity and feature delivery from inception to release.
• Drives MVP thinking and communicates value to team and stakeholders.
• Leads agile ceremonies and workshops with diverse stakeholders.
• Manages, coaches and develops staff with focus on performance.
• Translates functional/technical requirements into clear user stories.
