Job summary

Kainos is seeking a Product Consultant to lead backlog maturity, drive MVP thinking from inception to delivery, and communicate value to the team and stakeholders. You will lead agile ceremonies and plan workshops with a variety of stakeholders, ensuring delivery excellence.

You will also mentor junior staff, manage client relationships, and help shape product capability in bespoke software delivery for the defence sector, requiring active DV clearance and a client-focused approach.

Qualifications

Experience in bespoke software delivery as part of an agile team for external customers.
Defence sector experience.
Active DV clearance.
Experience in the software development lifecycle from analysis through to live operations.
Excellent facilitator of workshops with stakeholders.
Proven ability to break down work into deliverable pieces with clear user stories.

Responsibilities

Lead the team backlog to ensure quality and maturity.
Drive MVP thinking and communicate value to team and stakeholders.
Facilitate agile ceremonies and plan / run workshops with diverse stakeholders.
Coach and develop junior team members and support the wider delivery community.
Collaborate with client/supplier teams to align on scope and delivery deadlines.
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and contribute to sales proposals if needed.
