You'll be supporting our senior management in steering the ship, making sure our bar is buzzing, our dining spaces are thriving, and every guest has a reason to come back. Found in the heart of the Cotswolds' picturesque Windrush Valley, The Three Horseshoes is a beautifully restored 18th-century pub brimming with charm, character, and community spirit. It offers a warm welcome with locally brewed ales, craft beers, and a seasonal menu of comforting pub classics and wood-fired pizzas. With a number of elegantly styled rooms, a spacious garden overlooking the rolling hills of the countryside, and regular live acoustic music, it\'s the perfect countryside retreat for food lovers, walkers, and weekend explorers alike.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a vibrant front-of-house team, maintaining high energy and service standards throughout the day.
  • Keep service standards high and spirits even higher.
  • Take ownership of daily operations and make your mark.
  • Lead the day-to-day operations in the absence of the Restaurant & Bars Manager.
  • Support the Food & Beverage operation as per the department\'s requirements. This may include breakfast, lunch or dinner service working in the restaurant or on the bar.
  • Deliver outstanding guest service, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and well cared for.
  • Greeting and welcoming guests in and out for overnight stays.
  • Explaining pub facilities such as restaurant/bar hours, breakfast service, amenities.
  • Answering guest questions about the local area, events, and attractions.
  • Taking reservations for rooms, tables, or special events.
  • Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and stock levels across all public areas, including the bar and guest spaces.
  • Manage daily banking and site closing procedures.
  • Ensure all compliance tasks, health & safety checks, and mandatory training requirements are up to date and properly documented.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a hospitality supervisory or management role, ideally within a luxury bar or restaurant environment.
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills with the ability to delegate effectively.
  • A guest-focused mindset with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Confident in managing site operations, including cashing up and handling customer feedback.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Professional appearance and attitude, with a strong sense of personal responsibility.
  • Proficiency in using a reservation system and good telephone manner.

  • SALARY: 15 per hour + TRONC, paid weekly. HOURS: 30 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
